Frank Cisneros, Jr.

Frank is a co-founder and managing principal at Kawama, where he oversees land and building acquisitions, financing, sales and property management. Frank is also a licensed real estate broker and President of The Cisneros Real Estate Group, Inc.

Prior to starting Kawama, he worked as the Real Estate Director for two retail chains specializing in the fabric, craft and home décor business. He was responsible for site selection, lease negotiations and store remodeling and construction for over 80 retail stores in Florida and Georgia. Frank was also involved in a multitude of real estate development and investment projects in both the commercial and residential markets.

He graduated from Tampa’s Jesuit High School and attended Loyola University in New Orleans, and received his bachelor’s degree in Finance.

Carlos Cisneros

As a co-founder and managing principal at Kawama, Carlos oversees marketing, design, and construction. Carlos is a LEED Accredited Professional with the USGBC a national organization working to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. He is also a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and Tampa Preservation Inc., two groups focused on preserving the historic character of our buildings, neighborhoods and landmarks.

Formerly the development manager at Manulife Financial in Boston, Carlos was part of the John Hancock Wealth Management development team who oversaw the design and construction of their new LEED Certified, 15 story corporate office building, completed in 2005. Carlos also has general contractor experience working for Holder Construction Company, one of the nations largest contractors based out of Atlanta. During his time there Carlos was involved in both domestic and international projects, including spec and corporate office buildings, a Four Season Hotel in Costa Rica, and 24-7 data centers in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Carlos earned his BA from Loyola University, with graduate studies in Building Construction at the University of Florida.
